What does Using do?
Using is a remote-first software house and digital agency based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. We design and build websites, web and mobile apps, business systems such as POS and HRIS, and AI automation for growing businesses.
Who do you work with?
Small and medium businesses, startups, clinics, schools, and agencies, in Indonesia and abroad, that have a real product or service and want software that matches its quality. We work remotely in English or Indonesian. Our working day is GMT+7, which overlaps with office hours across Asia-Pacific and European mornings, and we meet in person in Yogyakarta and Jakarta.
How much does a project cost?
Every project has a fixed price agreed before kickoff, based on a written scope. Websites usually take weeks; custom systems and apps take months. We bill by project rather than by the hour, and the price you sign is the price you pay.
Can you add AI to a system we already have?
Yes. Most of our AI automation work connects to existing tools: WhatsApp, email, spreadsheets, accounting software, or an in-house database. We start with one workflow, measure the time it saves, then expand.
Do we own the code?
Yes. Everything we make for you, from design files to the repository and the accounts it runs on, is handed over in full when the project ends.
Can you work with our in-house team?
Yes. We often work alongside founders, marketers, and internal engineers, leading design and architecture while fitting into how your team already ships.
